Intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) has evolved from an orphan method to an indispensable tool to fight cancer in more than 300 clinical centers worldwide. A rapid technological development of the radiation devices, integration of image guidance, navigation and robotic assistance and solid clinical evidence from well-designed prospective studies have moved IORT into the spotlight.

International Society of Intraoperative Radiotherapy (ISIORT) provides a platform for scientists and clinicians from all over the world to share newest research, developments and clinical data.
