Cancer Research Center

Each year, about 100000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in Iran. Cancer constitutes the third cause of death among Iranians. It is important to note that cancer is a disease that needs multi-disciplinary teamwork. To help resolve issues regarding different aspects of cancer, Cancer Research Center at Shahid Beheshti University of medical Sciences was established in 2006. It has a linked clinical section, Comprehensive Cancer Control Center, which focuses on early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of different cancers
